3 Hour Course

This course teaches young shooters the basic knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to safely handle and use a firearm. 

It is designed for youth with little to no firearms experience and focuses on building strong safety habits and fundamental shooting skills in a structured, supportive environment.

Our experienced instructors cover different types of firearms and ammunition, safe handling and maintenance, and the fundamentals of marksmanship. 

We maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment that helps students build confidence both on and off the range.

Firearms and ammunition are included.

Parent/Guardian Requirement:
This course is for students under 18 years old. A parent or legal guardian must remain present for the duration of the course but will not participate. 

If a parent or guardian wishes to participate, they must register separately for their own course.

3 Hour Course

The Introduction to Defensive Handgun course teaches the essential skills needed to effectively defend yourself and others with a handgun. 

This course focuses on safe firearm handling, practical defensive shooting techniques, and building the confidence needed to perform under real-world conditions.

Students will learn and practice the core fundamentals of defensive handgun use in a structured and supportive training environment.

• Handgun safety
• Handgun and ammunition nomenclature
• Fundamentals of marksmanship
• Proper loading and unloading procedures
• Identifying and clearing malfunctions
• Drawing and working from the holster
• Strong- and weak-hand shooting
• Single-hand shooting techniques
• Shooting from various defensive positions

Ammunition and handgun not included. Ammo is available for purchase, and handguns are available for rent upon request.

2 Hour Course

Our Basic Carbine course is perfect for anyone who has recently purchased their first carbine, is considering buying one, or wants to become more confident and comfortable with the carbine they already own.

This course covers the essential knowledge and skills needed to safely handle and operate a carbine while building a strong foundation in firearm safety and marksmanship.

Course Topics

• Carbine safety
• Carbine and ammunition nomenclature
• Fundamentals of marksmanship
• Proper loading and unloading procedures
• Identifying and correcting malfunctions
• Strong- and weak-side shooting techniques

3 Hour Course

Carbine 2: Defensive Carbine is designed for students who already understand and can demonstrate the fundamentals of defensive shooting and are ready to train in a more dynamic shooting environment.

If you have completed our Introduction to Defensive Carbine (Carbine 1) course, this class builds directly on those skills. 

Students will apply previously learned fundamentals while developing more advanced defensive carbine techniques.

Course Topics

• Multiple target engagement
• Emergency and tactical reloads
• Shooting from cover and concealment
• Shooting while moving
• Shooting from various defensive positions
• Cadence shooting drills
